Command & Conquer Remastered Collection

Electronic Arts has long announced a remaster of the iconic Command & Conquer, but we had to wait a long time for any information about it.

Finally, they appeared on the occasion of the premiere of the trailer. We already know exactly what Command & Conquer Remastered is. We have collected all the details in one place. After reading them, you should already know if it's worth waiting for the reissue of this classic. Or maybe you'll find that Electronics has vacuumed this project unnecessarily?

The first and most important news concerns the content of the remaster. It turned out that it would cover not only the first part of the series (1995), but also the iconic Red Alert (1996) and a set of add-ons: Covert Operations (1997), Counterstrike (1997) and Aftermath (1997). In total, this gives you over 100 single-player missions and over 250 maps to play in multiplayer mode.

Regarding the main character, the creators made an interesting decision. He is the deadly projectile of the same name. He does not have a physical shell and instead takes control of defeated enemies. When we enter a warrior's body, we inherit not only his appearance, but also the skills associated with both the swing of the sword and magic. There will be a number of spells in the game that we can use in battles.

If you think Dark Souls is a dark game, just take a look at the contents of Mortal Shell. The world developed by Cold Symmetry will consist mainly of dark, gloomy locations, and the opponents we face can make us feel nightmares just by looking at them.

Do you like Dark Souls? Do you like the gloomy atmosphere? Do you like the freedom of the game? Mortal Shell should be the game for you. And whether it's worth giving him a chance, we'll probably find out at the end of this year. This is when the game should hit PC and consoles (so far we are talking only about the version for the current generation).

Command & Conquer Remastered will have an updated audio-visual environment. In this regard, it will offer almost the same thing as before, only in better quality (to see the difference, we'll be able to switch between the original and the remaster) and - in the case of graphics - with a resolution upgraded to 4K. All the videos have been scaled, so they shouldn't hurt your eyes.

Frank Klepaki, the creator of the original soundtrack, was brought in to work on the soundtrack. The game will feature seven hours of music, 20 minutes of which are recorded from scratch. EVA's combat interface will be voiced again by Kia Hanzinger. Узнайте больше о психологии отношений
